Brain computer/machine interfaces have been discussed with its potential use in medical treatment and virtual reality. However, the mechanisms underlying the electrical signals are not well understood. I am interested in characterizing the neural computation that occurs during behaviors in order to have a better understanding of the interaction between the neural inputs and outputs.
I received my B.S. in electrical engineering from University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC) in 2018 and earned my M.S. in electrical engineering from Columbia University (CU) in 2020. While at CU, I worked on auditory attention decoding using EEG with Dr. Mesgarani. In addition, I worked on developing Galea at OpenBCI as an intern. I joined B.I.O.N.I.C. Lab in July 2020 to pursue Ph.D. degree.
